Med Hat boxing wins big in Saskatchewan

This weekend was a strong showing for the Medicine Hat Boxing Club.

The club attended the South Saskatchewan Classic hosted by the Sandhills Boxing Club at the Leader Community Centre in Leader, Sask.

MHBC’s Jacob Walne defeated Ryder Bredy from Sandhills in the 95 lb. Jr. B division. Nate Vlosser defeated Kade Ruckaber from Regina Lonsdale Club in the 116 lb. Jr.C division. In the Jr. C 176 Lb. division., Porter Ostrowski defeated Michael Alderman from Lloydminster Boxing Club. Medicine Hat Boxing Club coach Kerry Fahlman said the boys boxed well and won by unanimous decisions.

The boxing club’s next action is this weekend in Calgary for the YYC Cup. The tournament features teams from across Canada.
