Rattlers win 4×400 bronze at ACAC championships

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers running team took home a bronze medal in the 4×400-metre relay at the ACAC championships over the weekend in Edmonton.

The Hat team of Raya Grover, Pyper Gill, Angela Bunn and Cheldynn Molnar completed the relay in 4:42.61 to win bronze – a nine-second improvement over their previous best – while Red Deer College (4:24.28) and Concordia University (4:31.23) took gold and silver, respectively.

Molnar also took fourth in the women’s 300m.

The men’s 4x400m team finished just off the podium in fourth. Sumner, who ran on the men’s relay team, also took fifth in both the men’s 600m and the 4x200m.
