Rattlers women’s volleyball make first signing

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers women’s volleyball team made their first signing for next season Thursday.

The Rattlers announced via their instagram they had inked Calla Boreen from Pilot Butte, SK, for the 2022-’23 season.

Boreen said in the post she chose Medicine Hat College because it is one of few colleges in Canada that offers a university education degree.

Rattlers women’s volleyball coach Kim Jensen said Boreen will be a great fit for their program.

“She has a great attitude and is very coachable, which will take her a long ways on the volleyball court and in the classroom as she works towards her education degree,” Jensen said. “We will look for her to challenge for a spot on the right side next season.”

Medicine Hat College’s women’s volleyball team finished their season on Feb. 13 with a record of 1-15.
