Paradise Valley Golf Course is once again bringing something new to the city of Medicine Hat and the local golf community. The par three course is currently building a Golfuture Range that will be powered by Toptracer technology. The new facility will allow the Paradise Valley team to bring more of “who they are and what they do” to the driving range experience. By working with the Golfuture team, they are able to offer a year-round, technology-driven driving range for the community of Medicine Hat. The Golfuture Range at Paradise Valley will open in April. It will feature Toptracer monitors with multiple games and challenging courses to play, big screen TVs, music, food and drinks, a covered putting green, year-round leagues, events, glowing targets and leaderboards where they can compete with other golfers around the world. Owner and CEO Dawn Postnikoff said via a media release the new facility will add a new level of fun for the Medicine Hat community. “We have always focused on making golf fun at Paradise Valley, but we’re still limited by the seasonality. The Golfuture Range allows us to operate through the winter and into the evenings, adding an entirely new activity for locals and visiting family and friends. And the Toptracer gaming aspect just adds a whole new level of fun,” Postnikoff said. On a Toptracer range, golfers are able to see replays of their shots, look at and analyze swing data, and make improvements to their game while on a range. A data-driven range experience is what modern golfers are looking for and Toptracer delivers that and more. For golfers, it is the ultimate practice tool, taking the guesswork out of range sessions. 9
