The Medicine Hat College Rattlers women’s basketball team ended their weekend on a high note. They beat the Olds College Broncos 72-51 Sunday at the Big Marble Go Centre after falling to the Broncos Friday at Olds. Katelyn Rozdeba led the way offensively for the Rattlers with a double-double, picking up 19 points and 15 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. They are back in action Thursday, when they host the Briercrest College Clippers for the college’s ‘Make Some Noise’ game for mental health. That contest gets underway at 6 p.m. at the BMGC. The Rattlers men’s basketball team get back in action Thursday night as well, hosting the Clippers for an 8 p.m. game. Volleyball The Rattlers women’s volleyball team lost a five-set contest to the Broncos Sunday afternoon (26-24, 25-14, 20-25, 22-25, 4-15). The Rattlers were up two sets to none before falling in three straight. Kennedy Galloway, Sarah Singular and Dryden Gris all led the Rattlers offensively with nine kills each. They have a rematch with the Broncos Friday at Olds College before returning home Saturday to take on the Ambrose Lions for a 6 p.m. match at BMGC. The Rattlers men’s volleyball team lost in three sets to the Broncos on Sunday, 17-25, 12-25, 19-25. Aidan Kelly led the Rattlers with six kills in the loss. They host the Lions Thursday at the BMCG with a 2 p.m. tip-off. 12
