Rattlers women Volleyball fall to Ambrose

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers women’s volleyball team fell to 0-7 on the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference season in their return from the Holiday break, falling in straight sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-21) to the Ambrose Lions on Friday in Calgary.

Sarah Singular led the Rattlers attack with eight kills on the night, while Jordi Hazen set up 15. Singular also led the defence with nine digs.

Elise Wagner led the Lions with seven kills and two digs, while Lexi Herrod set up 30.

Ambrose improved to 4-3 with the victory.

The Rattlers head back to Medicine Hat for a 6 p.m. rematch with the Lions on Saturday night at the Big Marble Go Centre.
