U13 Wildcats sweep weekend

The Medicine Hat Wildcats U13 girls hockey team remains undefeated following a pair of wins last weekend.

On Saturday, the U13 girls team travelled to Centennial Arena and beat the Brooks Prairie Thunder 8-4. Jordan Kasarek got the win in net, making 15 of 19 saves. Morgan Gage led Medicine Hat’s offence with three goals and an assist, while Jayde Hynes added a hat trick of her own.

The Wildcats travelled to Cochrane Sunday and beat the Junior Chaos Female A in a 7-3 battle. Both Sydney Broesky and Bella Ferguson had two goals and Katie Hilton got the win in net with 30 saves.

The Wildcats are in action this Saturday against Okotoks at Co-op Place. Puck drops at 4:15 p.m.
