Kade Linford from MHBC defeated Quinton Wilson from Edmonton South Side with an unanimous decision in the junior B 46 kilogram division. Nate Vossler lost a split decision to Restrepo Santaigo from Lethbridge Boxing Club in the junior C 52 kilogram division. Timor Kiriazis lost to Brandon Amaya from Lethbridge by referee in the second round in the Youth 51 kilogram class The next action for the MHBC will be Nov. 27 at Olympus Boxing in Calgary. Hatter wins bronze at Quebec Open Judo tournament Kiana Ivey, with the Medicine Hat Judo Club, won a bronze medal at the Quebec Open Judo tournament last weekend. Ivey bested competitors from across Canada in the U18 70 kilogram division. Club president Donovan Hoggan said in a press release that Ivey worked her plan and was outstanding at the tournament. “It’s an amazing accomplishment and we couldn’t be prouder of Kiana,” Hoggan said. “She had a very good plan and worked her plan. Her performance was outstanding and her medal is well-deserved.” 11
