SAHA U18 sweeps weekend

It was a weekend was full of wins for SAHA’s U18 male prep team, who went undefeated in three games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

They got the ball rolling Friday night with an 8-2 win over the International Hockey Academy. Aiden Oiring and Shane Smith both had two goals and Andrew Basha had a goal and four helpers in the win as the Medicine Hat team poured 55 shots on the IHA goalie in the win.

On Saturday, SAHA muscled out a close 3-2 win on the back of a two-goal performance from defenceman Josh Van Mulligan.

Friday’s flood gates reopened on Sunday in a 6-0 win over OHA Edmonton on the road. Six different players scored in the win including forward Kohen Morrison, who got his first of the season. Zack Zahara stopped all 19 shots he faced to pick up the win in both Sunday and Friday’s contests.

SAHA hits the road this weekend for a three-game series in Saskatchewan.
