Hellers win seventh straight Hat Open title

Calvin and Tracy Heller clinched their seventh consecutive Medicine Hat Open mixed doubles championship on Monday at the Medicine Hat Tennis Club.

The top-seeded Hellers picked up the championship win by defeating second-seed Erika Miller and Trevor Riddell, 6-1, 6-2 in a final that was pushed to Monday due to weather.

Una and Craig Weich defeated CoraLee Riehl and Lauchlan MacMillan, 6-3, 6-3 to win the consolation title.

Gabi and Brock Hale won the intermediate championship by defeating Dani Fritzke and Mak Howes, 7-5, 7-5. Tiffany and Alex Stevens won the intermediate consolation final, 7-6, 6-0 over Lily and Gary Laurent.
