The Medicine Hat Tigers are making moves ahead of the pre-season.

The team announced Tuesday it had acquired forward Owen MacNeil from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange a fourth round pick in 2022 and an eighth round pick in 2023.

MacNeil, a product of Calgary, has spent the last three seasons with the Chiefs where he had three goals and 11 points in 67 games. He was selected by the Chiefs 39th overall in the 2018 draft.

Tigers pre-season games begin this weekend, as they travel Lethbridge on Friday to play to open a home-and-home set against the Hurricanes, which will conclude Saturday night at Co-op Place.
