The Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Calgary Canucks have added Quintin Unreiner for the 2021/22 season.

The Medicine Hat product played last season for the South Alberta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was only able to suit up for six games for SAHA.

Unreiner played three seasons for the SEAC Tigers, two at U15 AAA and one at the U16 AAA level. The defenceman had four goals and 12 points in 71 games at the U15 level and six goals and 24 points in 34 games at the U16 level.

The Canucks start their season Friday Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in Drumheller against the Dragons.
