Strugari wins lawnmower race at Speedway

Gary Strugari put on quite a mow on Saturday night at the Medicine Hat Speedway.

Strugari picked up the overall victory in the Speedway’s special lawnmower race, followed by Dave Mason and Josiah Mason, to cap off Saturday’s action.

Thomas Payne picked up the overall victory in the Davis GMC Elite Street Stock, besting Les Negium and Trevor Negium, respectively.

In the Just Smok’n Rumblebees class, Brittney Young took the checkered flag ahead of Kevin Hieb and Levi Sergeant, respectively.

The Speedway will host a demolition derby this Saturday evening, with gates opening at 4 p.m., followed by the derby at 5 p.m.
