Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Garin Bjorklund and forward Cole Sillinger have been invited to compete at Hockey Canada’s national men’s junior team summer development camp.

Hockey Canada unveiled its 51-player roster Wednesday, which features 19 invitation to Western Hockey League players.

Bjorklund posted a 10-7-0-1 record with a 2.60 goals against average and a .921 save percentage over 18 games with the Tigers this season.

Sillinger, meanwhile, competed with the United States Hockey League’s Sioux Falls Stampede this season in an effort to maximize ice time. The 18-year-old Regina product recorded 24 goals and 22 assists in 31 games with the Stampede.

Sillinger is ranked 10th overall among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting ahead of Friday’s entry draft. Bjorklund was selected 179th overall by the Washington Capitals in 2020.
