Cubs open camp Friday

The Medicine Hat Cubs will be back on the ice for a three-day training camp this weekend in Redcliff.

The action starts Friday at the Redcliff Rec-Tangle Arena with practice sessions at 5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

The camp continues Saturday with Team Black taking on Team Orange in a 11:30 a.m. scrimmage. Team Black will then face Team Yellow in another scrimmage at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday practices for Teams Yellow and Orange are slated for 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.

Team Black will hit the ice for a 9 a.m. practice session Sunday, before Yellow and Orange hit the ice for a scrimmage at 10:30 a.m.

The team’s Top 40 game will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday, concluding the camp.
