Medicine Hat Tigers winger Cole Sillinger will be continuing his development in Sioux Falls, N.D. with the USHL’s Stampede while he awaits the Western Hockey League’s return. The dual U.S.-Canadian citizen is entering his first year of draft eligibility and is projected to go in the first round. Tigers head coach and general manager Willie Desjardins said in a Wednesday team release that this transition will give Sillinger “the best ability to showcase his talent for the upcoming NHL draft.” The release adds Sillinger will return to Medicine Hat once the Stampede’s season concludes. Sioux Falls (7-9-1-0) is slated to finish its regular season April 24. 4
