The Medicine Hat Tigers forward earned his way to the e-sports hockey tournament’s final showdown by sweeping Mississauga Steelheads winger Ty Collins in a best-of-three semifinal, 5-3 and 4-2, on Tuesday evening. Svejkovsky remains undefeated in the 64-team tournament – now narrowed down to three with Acadie-Bathurst Titan centre Dylan Champagne and Saint John Sea Dogs winger Riley Bezeau set to face off in a best-of-three semifinal this afternoon at 4:15 p.m. After taking down Collins in Game 1, Svejkovsky rallied for four straight goals to secure the sweep – putting the 19-year-old Point Roberts, Wash. product in the final after outscoring opponents 24-10 through six games. Svejkovsky will face Champagne or Bezeau in the final on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. on Twitch and Facebook Live. The winner will earn a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice. 7
