Hatters teamed up to donate 475 stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes, and pieces of winter gear, at the Salvation Army’s Tigers Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday at Co-op Place.
The event was held in the parking lot of Co-op Place and featured volunteer assistance from the Medicine Hat Soccer Association.
“The Salvation Army would like to thank everyone who donated for children and seniors in need,” Salvation Army volunteer Kristina Hyde said in an email to the News.
The items will be placed in isolation and distributed to local seniors’ homes, Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and through the Salvation Army’s Christmas hampers.
