AMS splits a pair to close out volleyball season

The Alexandra Middle School girls B volleyball team closed the book on an unusual volleyball season with a pair of splits on Thursday evening.

After taking a narrow 27-25 win from Crescent Heights then falling 20-25 in a second set, Alexandra returned to the court and ended things on a wild note with a 27-25, 25-27 battle against Roy Wilson.

“Our girls battled hard in all games and have had a great season,” AMS coach Jaime Hamilton said in an email to the News.
