McCoy Colts awards next week

The Monsignor McCoy Colts will be honouring the achievements of their high school athletes online next week in lieu of an in-person banquet.

McCoy will begin announcing award recipients through the school’s Facebook page starting with cross country and golf on Monday at noon.

Football takes centre stage Tuesday, followed by volleyball Wednesday and basketball Thursday. The Brad Jackle Award for excellence and leadership in the classroom and in sports will be announced Friday.

McCoy’s athletic awards banquet was initially scheduled to take place Monday, but was replaced with a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
