Rattlers announce Lisa Tschritter Memorial Award winners Thursday

A pair of student-athletes shared the spotlight as the Medicine Hat College Rattlers announced their latest major award winners Thursday night. Both Taylor Stroh of the women’s soccer and futsal teams, and Ty Moline from men’s volleyball, were honoured with the Lisa Tschritter Memorial Award. Tschritter, who died in 1999, was known for going above and beyond for her teammates. The Rattlers’ social media post didn’t elaborate on why Stroh or Moline were chosen for the award. The college’s athletics banquet was cancelled due to the pandemic and awards have instead been announced one or two at a time since last week, with the final major awards to be announced this weekend. 5-4
