Rattler Run coming

By Medicine Hat News on February 26, 2020.

Registration for the 41st Rattler Run opened recently, with organizers looking to get as many people from the community out as possible for the April 25 fun runs and races.

With three, five and 10-kilometre routes and divisions for all ages, the annual event at Medicine Hat College typically signifies the start of the spring running season as well as a chance to get out and enjoy a big community event.

“Being active isn’t just a passing trend or fad – it’s a scienfically proven method to strengthen our body, mind and social connections,” said race director Tara Chisholm in a press release. “As a long standing community tradition, we look forward to providing a fun and motivating opportunity for individuals to improve and celebrate their physical well-being year after year.”

Registration starts at $25 until April 3, though signing up online costs more than going to see Chisholm in the college sport and wellness office or emailing her at tchisholm@mhc.ab.ca. Fees go up another $10 after April 3.
