College basketball teams finish up season at home

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers basketball team both saw their seasons come to an end this weekend with games against SAIT.

The women’s team came away Saturday with a 58-43 win.

The team will be hosting the ACAC Women’s Basketball Championships from March 4-7.

The men’s team was doubled up by SAIT on Saturday, losing 114-57 at the Snakepit.

The men’s team finishes with a record of 4-17 on the year.

Volleyball

The Rattlers women’s volleyball team finished up their regular season with a three-set loss against Red Deer College.

The volleyball team is also hosting the ACAC championship from February 27-29.

The Rattlers men also finished their season with a three-set loss to Red Deer College on the road. They finish with a record of 6-18 and will miss playoffs.
