Moch repeats at Ag Bonspiel

For the second year in a row Harvey Moch’s team emerged victorious at the Ag Bonspiel at the Medicine Hat Curling Club.

On Sunday Moch, with son Leon, daughter Jackie Schell and Vivian Moch beat the Kevin Aberle foursome 9-6 in the A final.

The key end was the sixth, in which Moch scored four to pull away.

In the B final, Kevin Brost skipped the Palliser Sales team to an 8-3 win over Rodger Heidinger.

Also on Brost’s team were Jason Babcock, Ian Hakes and Jordan Braun.

Mike Murray’s team (with Jason Murray, Darrell Ens and Stacey Kultgen) beat team Cavan in four ends of the C final. In the D event, Trevor Tuchscherer (with Jason Kunz, Gail Halderman and Ryan Haag) beat Allan McKinley 8-3.

The E final was won by Glen Schnell’s team over Larry Brown.

Next up on the local club’s schedule is the Gas City Senior Bonspiel Feb. 10-12.
