Masson second at pickleball event in Arizona

Medicine Hat’s Gordon Masson picked up another podium finish in pickleball this past week, teaming up with Washington’s Carol Wade to take second at the U.S.A Pickleball Association’s Southwest Regional Championship in Surprise City, Ariz. Friday.

Masson and Wade went 3-1 in the round robin event, losing only to Californians Lulu McDowell and Bill Weiss. That team went 4-0 to take top spot in the 4.0-level, age 70-74 mixed doubles division.
