SEAC’s top scorer Van Mulligen named to AMBHL all-star team

One member of the South East Athletic Club’s bantam AAA Tigers has received an invite to the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League’s showcase game.

Defenceman Josh Van Mulligen is listed on the roster for the South team that will play in Edmonton Jan. 11. He’s not alone as the sole representative of a team, as Lethbridge, Airdrie and Okotoks each also had one player picked.

All of those teams are far back of 18-1-2 Red Deer at the break in the Ram South Division, with SEAC 6-12-3. The Rebels will have five players on the team, with four Calgary teams and Leduc filling out the side.

Van Mulligen has 18 points in 21 games to lead the Tigers in scoring despite being a blueliner.
