Demo Daze hits FLC Saturday

Demo Daze returns to Medicine Hat Saturday at the Family Leisure Centre, offering prospective athletes a chance to try out a sport before registering for the upcoming season of competition.

Twenty local athletic organizations will be attendance with tables set up in the fieldhouse to offer insight into their respective activities. There will also be a schedule of sporting events to take part in throughout the day.

The event will feature a vast variety of options, from more common activities like skating, track, soccer, ball hockey, lawn bowling and dance to more unique events like fencing, pickleball water polo, roller derby and knockerball.

Demonstrations run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visit medicinehat.ca for a full schedule of activities.
