Medicine Hat’s Pickleball Club held a tournament this past weekend with men’s, women’s and mixed doubles divisions in play.
On Saturday, Cori Maser and Becks Dudley won the women’s intermediate ahead of Diane Snider and Joanne Anheller. Sherry Biko and Deb Widdis were third.
In men’s advanced, Gerard Oosterhuis and Ken MacPhail took gold, Gord Masson and Yvan Dussault silver, and Doug Grimm and Neil Maser bronze.
There was also a men’s intermediate, won by Kirk Ewasechko and Charlie McIver. Dale Stein and Mel Derzaph were second, with Tom Rooke and Elton Steinley third.
In mixed play, Becks Dudley and Neil Maser teamed up to win the advanced bracket. Bonnie Ewasechko and Dwight Berg took second, with Wanda Lazar and Doug Grimm third.
Fonda and Charlie McIver won the intermediate mixed ahead of Cori Maser and Tom Gordon. Deb Widdis and Don Knutson were third.
