Mavs, Red Sox rained out

The Medicine Hat Mavericks will finish the final two games of their three-game set in Regina tonight thanks to a rainstorm.

Already down 6-0 in the third inning to the Red Sox, the skies opened up and the decision was eventually made to complete the Western Canadian Baseball League contest before playing a seven-inning series finale, all on Wednesday at Currie Field.

Medicine Hat has two days off following the trip, then hosts Yorkton Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Athletic Park.
