Junior golfers play High River

A pair of Hat-area golfers were in High River this past weekend at the Maple Leaf Tour’s event at Highwood Golf and Country Club.

Nolan Burzminski shot rounds of 74 and 82 on the par-72 course, finishing seven shots back of the winner, Calgary’s Elias Theodossopouos. He actually led after the first round but had to settle for a fifth-place finish.

Redcliff’s Brady DeBoice shot 92 both days to finish 17th.
