There were some different names in the lead on the season’s second race night at the Medicine Hat Speedway.
On Saturday, the weather held off long enough for three divisions to finish their main events. Things worked out great for Trevor Stratton, won won the hobby stock class after placing third in the season opener two weeks earlier.
Stratton drove his No. 16 car to the win ahead of the No. 27 of James Dumont, who came closest to a repeat from opening night. Phillip Baird was third.
In elite street stock, Wil Voth was the winner. Ross Statham and Jareme Koska rounded out the podium.
As for the Busy Bee Auto Rumblebees, Serge Perreault took top spot with Brittany Young second and Emma Fitzpatrick third.
The next racing night is June 22.
