Rattlers miss the cut in Ontario

Medicine Hat College’s women’s golf team was forced out of the Canadian University/College Championship in Komoka, Ont. after missing the cut at the end of the third round.

Nicole Schultz led the Rattlers through the first three rounds and closed out her weekend at 52-over after going 86-92-93-271, while Sierra Zukowski went 92-89-91-272 to finish at 53-over and Ciara Bonogofski finished at 177-over with a 143-125-128-396. The combined performance left the Rattlers last in the team event as well.

Guelph’s Sarah Dunning went on to win the women’s event at 10-over (80-77-76-69-302).

Western’s Jackson Bowery won the men’s event at 8-under (70-70-73-67-280).

The UBC Thunderbirds won the men’s and women’s team events.
