Medicine Hat's Michael Clarke finished his junior hockey career as a member of the Humboldt Broncos last month and has committed to the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns for next season.

After an incomparable season with the Humboldt Broncos, Medicine Hat’s Michael Clarke is ready for his next hockey team.

Clarke, 20, is going to the University of Lethbridge as per a tweet from the Broncos Tuesday afternoon.

After four seasons playing junior A in Alberta, Clarke finished his junior eligibility as an alternate captain with a Broncos team in the wake of the bus crash tragedy last spring. He led the team with 71 points in 57 games, named the regular season MVP of the team.

He’s not the only Broncos player who has committed to the Pronghorns. Josh Patrician and Owen Guenter will join him on the U of L’s roster.
