On the heels of a half-dozen Medicine Hat football players earning a spot at the Senior Bowl and two more named to the provincial under-18 roster, a pair of brothers were selected for a third team with a big summer trip involved. Hat High’s Dylan and Aayden Callan made Football Alberta’s under-17 team headed to Hawaii in August. They’ll be joined by fellow Hat High coach Quinn Skelton, who was named to the team’s staff back in December. Dylan plays defensive line while Aayden is a linebacker. The team is a development squad leading into the under-18 team which goes to the Canada Cup. They’ll also play an exhibition game in June against Saskatchewan’s under-17 side. The trip to Hawaii is lablelled the Pacific Challenge and has become a regular part of Football Alberta’s program. 5
