St. Mary’s School wins two basketball titles

St. Mary’s School clinched a duel championship Thursday.

The Colts rallied to win both the Medicine Hat Junior High Athletic Association boys A basketball championship as well as the B championship in a pair of games across the city.

The A squad hosted Alexandria and cruised to an 82-52 victory. The B team entered enemy territory at Crescent Heights and rallied to erase a nine-point deficit before handing the top-seeded Vikings their first loss of the season in a 53-42 victory.
