Pickleball goes indoors for latest tourney

Medicine Hat’s pickleball community held a new tournament last month, and as you’d expect they held it indoors.

The Fall Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament took place Nov. 17 at Hillcrest Church’s gymnasium.

In the advanced division, Wanda Lazar and Cory Streifel beat the team of Carolynn Snyder and Kerry Buss.

As for the intermediate division, it was Tom Gordon and Judy Perschon edging Frank Niedermayer and Chrissy Degeer.
