Medicine Hat News A Medicine Hat pickleball player had a notable result at a tournament in Arizona over the weekend. Gordon Masson paired with Carol Wade to take second in the Marriott Desert Ridge Holiday Classic in Phoenix, going 2-1 in the mixed doubles 70-and-over division. Masson and Wade beat the Grosman-Stiers team 2-1 (14-12, 9-11, 11-6), lost 2-1 (11-1, 10-12, 11-8) to the eventual champions Cynthia Conroy and John Morrison, and beat the MacEachron-Kesner team 2-0 (11-4, 11-4). 5-4
