Indoor soccer begins

The indoor soccer season has begun in Medicine Hat. Three games kicked off the season on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at the Family Leisure Centre.

The indoor men’s soccer season began Sunday night at the Family Leisure Centre, with a trio of close contests.

In the opener, Ralston beat the Rattlers Academy Soccer Club 5-4 behind the strength of Scott Creighton’s four goals.

Danson Njorge had the other for Ralston. Nick Staruiala had two for RASC, which got singles from Kyle Giesbrecht and Aston Silver.

Another big individual performance paced the Wild to a 7-4 win over the Alleycat Angels. Damir Omerovic scored four, Travis Hyde two and Petrosky Roche the other for the Wild. Leonil Ahmed Al-Obiadi had two while Connor Ismond and Johnny Keohane had the Angels’ replies.

The last game of the night saw PBR’s Rangers and Earls’ Phantoms fight to a 3-3 draw. Brendan Lutz had a pair for Earls and Chris Sawicki the other. Sam Poole, Austin Price and Allan Siwela scored for PBR.

Games run from 7-10 p.m. every Sunday at FLC.
