Watch out, world. Elic Ayomanor is not slowing down.

The 15-year-old Medicine Hat athlete helped Alberta to two straight wins at Football Canada’s Under-16 Western Challenge this past week in Edmonton, capping a 47-21 gold medal win over Manitoba Saturday with three touchdowns.

Already headed to the Legion national track and field meet next month in Brandon, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Ayomanor was named offensive player of the tournament. All three of his majors came in the third quarter: a 68-yard reception, a 51-yard reception and a 59-yard punt return.

He also had 45 yards rushing in last Wednesday’s 21-16 win over British Columbia. Alberta repeated as Western Challenge champs, having won the event in its first year in 2017.
