Medicine Hat’s Gas City Ball Hockey League hosted provincial championships this past weekend, and a few home teams wound up claiming the trophies.

The local league’s Facebook page reported that their under-15 A, under-11 B, and under-9 teams all won gold. No scores were reported nor were full medal results in any divisions.

A couple other local squads found the podium. Silver medals went to the Hat under-8 A team, while bronze medals went to the under-13 team.

Games were played at the Kinplex, Family Leisure Centre and in Redcliff. A total of 37 teams including 10 host sides competed in age divisions from under-9 all the way up to under-17.
