Stovka, Kundert and Rissling take Speedway wins

The Medicine Hat Auto Racing Association held points races Saturday in three classes.

Mitch Stovka won the elite street stock division on the night, taking the checkered flag ahead of Terry Parr. Conor Hirch finished third.

In IMCA modifieds, it was Steve Kundert with the win. Jason Martin was initially reported as the victor but that was changed in a press release Monday morning, with Martin now listed in second place and Ross Statham unchanged in third.

Finally, Jonathan Rissling was the winner in the hobby stock division. Jake Sissons took second and Rob Gale third.

Next race day at the Medicine Hat Speedway is set for July 7, with local hobby stock, elite street stock and renegade trucks all on the schedule.
