Hat team second

A team from Gas City CrossFit won second place at a competition in Red Deer this past weekend.

Kaine Dick and Brittny Jordan paired up for the mixed prescribed event at Riot on the River, held at Pure Fitness in Red Deer.

Fifth after the opening event, they put up two third-place results and a second-place finish in the remaining workouts to head into the final elimination ladder in contention.

Seventy-two athletes competed in the one-day event Saturday, four from Gas City CrossFit.
