Michael Bullion has decided where his hockey career is going next.

The ex-Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender was introduced as the newest member of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology’s team Monday in Oshawa.

Bullion, who turns 21 next week, graduated as an overager from the WHL with a 45-31-5 regular season record, 3.27 goals against average and .892 save percentage — most of that after being traded from Portland last year.

“I have got a lot of history here and a lot of love for Toronto, Oshawa, and this whole area,” Bullion said in a press release. “Growing up I always wanted to play here, so definitely pretty special opportunity to come back and get back to my roots.”

Bullion’s from Anchorage, Alaska but played much of his midget hockey in Ontario. His new team, the Ridgebacks, play in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport system.
