Medicine Hat News

They’ve now got two losses on the year, but oh, how did the Medicine Hat peewee AAHounds respond.

After dropping their opener 5-4 Thursday to the Springbank Rockies, the South Central Alberta HockeyLeague champs bounced back in a big way Friday with wins of 11-3 (over the Sherwood Park Jets)and 7-0 (over the host Glenlake Hawks).

If the Hounds beat Lloydminster in their last round robin game Saturday they’ll play for gold Sunday in Calgary.

Dawson Seitz has seven goals and two assists to lead Medicine Hat in scoring, with Shane Smith’s five goals and three helpers not far behind. Smith had seven points alone in the 11-3 win.
