Cheer teams medal at competitive meet

Cheerleading in Medicine Hat continues to grow, as evidenced by some fantastic competition results this past weekend.

Ultimate Cheer Fusion sent five teams to the Red Deer Cheer and Dance Challenge, with every one of them scoring a podium finish.

According to a press release sent by Fusion, their senior team placed third out of seven teams, while their juniors (9-11) and minis (7-8) also wound up with bronze-medal-worthy performances.

The youngest two teams from Fusion didn’t stop there, both landing top spots in their respective divisions. The Glimmer (5-6) team were named the best out of five in competition, while the Sparkle (3-4) kids also won top spot.

Next up is a competition in Warman, Sask.
