Devo FC stays undefeated

Devo FC held their 10-point lead in the Medicine Hat Senior Men’s Indoor Soccer League standings with a 9-6 victory over the PBR Rangers on Tuesday at the Family Leisure Centre.

Allan Siwela led the way with a four-goal performance while Colten Pacheco added a pair and Austin Price, Ethan Hudec and Davin Picard all added individual markers to push Devo to 14-0-1.

Forkpa Sumo potted a hat trick for the Rangers. Petrosky Roche, Jesse Corrigal and Mark Elson also scored in the loss, dropping the Rangers to 4-9-2.

The setback comes after PBR’s 8-0 victory over the Rattlers under-18 squad Sunday evening. Elson led the way with a hat trick while Sumo and Hugh Lehr added two apiece and Mike Gurski rounded out the scoring with one of his own.

The Earls Phantoms kept the pace with Devo thanks to a 5-4 win over the Ralston Rovers on Sunday. Brendan Lutz and Martyn O’Donnell both scored twice in the victory with Matt Wilson rounding out the scoring to leave Earls at 11-4-0.

Jack Charlton potted a pair for Ralston while Scott Creighton and Carl White added individual goals in the loss, leaving the Rovers at 7-6-0.

The Rattlers under-17 closed out Sunday’s matchups with their first win of the season in a 4-2 battle with the Wild. Caleb Lawson led the way with two goals while Tristan Milne and Ashton Silver added two more to push the Rattlers to 1-12-2. Chris Kean and Neil Bainbridge scored for the Wild, leaving them at 3-10-2.

League action continues at the Family Leisure Centre on Sunday with the Rattlers under-18 squad taking on the Wild at 7 p.m. followed by Ralston and PBR at 8 p.m.
