Koenig wins Medicine Hat Horseshoe Club Division 1 title

Medicine Hat News Vern Koenig was awarded with the Medicine Hat Horseshoe Club’s Division 1 championship at the group’s award dinner this weekend. Koenig took top spot ahead of runner-up Larry Fassnidge, while Doug Sherk took third place. Fassnidge was also named the club’s most improved player. Lloyd Doucette took home the Division 2 title after finishing ahead of second-place Harvey Frey and third-place Bernie Bast. Shirley Walsh topped Division 3, while Vivian Fry took second and Ken Pearce won third. 6-5
