Medicine Hat News The Hat High Kwahommies took home the title at the Crescent Heights girls volleyball tournament this weekend. The Kwahommies defeated the higher-seeded Eagle Butte Talons in straight sets to secure the championship, 25-22, 25-15. After finishing 6-2 in Friday’s group stage, the Kwahommies defeated Brooks with a dominant comeback quarter-final victory, 17-25, 25-4, 15-8. Hat High earned their place in the final with a 25-17, 23-25, 15-12 battle with the McCoy Colts, while the Talons punched their ticket to the championship game after defeating Strathmore in the quarter-finals and Winston Churchill in the semis. 5
