Alberta Street Car Shootout hits drag strip

Medicine Hat News The Alberta Street Car Shootout makes its way onto the Medicine Hat Drag Racing Association strip Saturday afternoon, The event will feature drivers from across Western Canada in some of the fastest street-legal vehicles in the country while Medicine Hat’s own racers aim to improve their standing with just four points days left on the calendar. The action kicks off with time trials at noon Saturday before racing officially begins at 4 p.m. The afternoon will also feature the King of the Track event, which pits the winners from each class against one another to determine the king of the MHDRA. Racing continues into Sunday at 1 p.m. with points races in all local classes. 6-5
