Bowlers team up for tournament win

Medicine Hat News The Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club continued a busy summer with a team event Aug. 2 known as the Burniston Tournament. Eight three-person teams competed for the top trophy, but only one could put their names on it at the end. In the final it was the team of Doug Keith, Eileen Cicon and Jim Cicon beating the threesome of Jim Clegg, Mary Clegg and Nanko Dubbelboer 6-2. In the third-place game Ina Lutz, Lori Durdle and Vickie Chapman got by Daniel Frey, Danielle Donington and Ann Boutkan 10-1. 5-4
